Latin L. Bean's body is made from the wrap on a take-out coffee cup. Does that make him a Coffee Bean?
Side-view. Fairly stable fellow. |
Greetings, Sandra,
I mailed my Lilah Bean to you at 3:07 this afternoon, and was told it should be there by Saturday. However, I am in such a remote area, you never know. Therefore, I sent you a picture, in case you want it for posting purposes on Thursday. I designed an Artist Trading Card/Easel format in a limited edition of 2. I named it "Latin L. Bean" - you got twin #1! I'd like to post the picture on my blog, along with a link to the contest in your website, but I'll wait until you post him first. I believe I enclosed all the information that you requested on the back and bottom, as well as a SASE. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Thank you,
Arnoldo
It looks like different types of paper layered with some wire for the arms. Nice "Shattuck" in the hair! is that a print in the background?
I will post some more pics when I receive the real LLBean!

Greetings! I'm glad you liked the "Shattuck" in the hair. Not only is he a Lilah Bean, but he's Latin, so he's extremely picky about the hair! There's a tiny part of an "Aura" that forms his heart and "Btl Joos" trim his shoes. All of the latter have dimensional Glossy Accents over them. I mimicked "Printemps" using wire for the hands. (You can move the arms up and down.) It's hard to see, but the body was cut out of a coffee cozy which is embossed in a tessellation that gives the impression of a tangle pattern. As to the background, I used Scratch-Foam to make a stamp. I printed it on mustard colored card stock and then colored it with colored pencils. L.L. Beans is attached to the background with foam pads to give him some dimension. Since I turned the ATC into an easel, it is free standing. He is very disciplined, so I know he'll be a great addition to your "Army of Minions." In addition, he is fluent in English and Spanish, so he'll be extremely valuable during missions into Latin American and Spain - LOL!
oh wow, how cool to have such a limited edition ACT!!! Latin Bean is very nice looking. I really love his hair/hat and his heart too!
Thank you! It was a lot of fun making it for Sandy's collection. Blessings!
Wonderful! Really like this.
Thank you!
