Tangling with Teens

Hi Sandy,
I think my daughter does pretty amazing tangles. Here are some that she did on our recent cruise. She also LOVES to invent her own. And, she LOVES your book. The traditional tiles are by my daughter "Birdie," age 12:

These colored Zentangles are from my teen camp on the day we explored color. These kids were 12-13 years old.

Your daughters Tangles are great! I see a few that I haven't tried yet. I was also wondering what the kids from the teen camp used to create the colored tiles? Did they use colored pencils? I really like the color tones in these tiles.
Thank you for this post! said...

For the upper tiles they used Whispers Strokes pens and then used the colorless blender to add shading. I picked these up very inexpensively as an alternative to Copic markers. In the tiles with the curves, they used watercolor pencils after they had tangled with their Microns.

Glad you like them.
