Etcha-WHA...?!!

Ok, so this isn't exactly related to Zentangle... but it is a really good example of what you can achieve if you keep practicing your tangles. Remember... "one stroke at a time."

My kids and I were waiting (and waiting...) for our lunch and the waitress brought Lilah a coloring book and crayons and an Etch-a-Sketch. Lilah ordered me to "draw something" so I created a lumpy Egyptian pyramid. My son, Alex, snorted at my drawing and snitched it from me. He was really quiet for a loooong time. Suddenly, he tossed the Etch-a-Sketch on the table and said "now THAT's a pyramid, mom." Ummm... yeh, he's right!
He's not really that serious all the time.
He was trying really hard not to laugh.
Yowza! That is SOOO cool! Don't you think?
Keep drawing, everyone!

(Lilah insisted I take her picture too.)

Yeah but it's a MAYAN pyramid. Much easier to draw on an Etch-a-Sketch than an EGYPTIAN one. Well, except for Zoser's. (It was Zoser who had the step pyramid, wasn't it? For some reason when I write that I keep thinking Zoser is the bad guy from Ghostbusters.)
